Blessing O. Nwodo

Blessing O. Nwodo

Blessing O. Nwodo, a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, was born in Nigeria and now resides in Toronto. She holds an MFA from the Canadian University of Guelph, and has served as Editor of Held Magazine. An alumna of the University of Nigeria, she was honored as Best Female Writer in 2017. Her stories have won the 2016 Nigerian Travel Story, been shortlisted for the 2021 Toyin Fálọlá Prize, the 2021 African Writers Awards, and the 2019 Lost Balloon Pushcart Prize for Speculative Fiction. She has been published in This Magazine, ArtsEverywhere, Humber Literary Review, The Common, Brittle Paper, FBOMB, Kalahari Review, and others. When she's not relishing fashion, she can often be found pulverizing the patriarchy. She is working on a collection of speculative fiction, and a novel. Lulu Liu

Lulu Liu (@lulu.lemonless) is a multimedia artist, critic, software engineer and filmmaker whose work disseminates technology’s coalescence with art, and how one stays grounded through this metamorphosis.

In 2023, at the ELO conference in Coimbra, Portugal, she explored the significance of human connection through artistic processes in the context of AI-generated art. In 2022, at the ELO conference in Como, Italy, she developed innovative work modeling entanglement and superposition in Unity VR to examine quantum literacy, investigating intersectionality and identity through quantum principles.

As a filmmaker, her credits include directing "Cherry On Top," a dark comedy short film, and producing content for CBC's "Canada as the Main Character." Her winning animation "Good Night Moon" won at TIFF 2019's Battle of the Scores.


Sunday Kelvin

Sunday Kelvin

Ssunday is a Neo Soul singer and visual artist from Toronto. He draws inspiration from his southern Nigerian upbringing to shape his soulful sound and reflective stories. Influenced by artists like Asa, Victor Uwaifo, and D'Angelo and Frank Ocean, Ssunday’s music creates soothing, nostalgic, and intimate experiences on stage. He collaborates closely with Bass player Malcolm Hillier and drummer Michael Mintchev. In August 2023, he released his debut EP, "Blue Sunday."


Anamika Deb

Anamika Deb

Anamika Deb is a Montreal-based multimedia artist specializing in interactive and immersive audiovisual installations that explore the evolving relationship between humans and space. As a VJ, scenographer, and artist, she has created visuals for music performances, art installations, and Bollywood film sets. Her works have been showcased internationally at prominent platforms, including the Glitch Cinema Festival in Zagreb, Croatia; MAPP Festival in Montreal; HACK LAB at SAT Montreal; and the DARC LED exhibit in Ottawa. Anamika’s art integrates real-time visuals, generative computation, and interactive elements, often using sensors and data to engage audiences in deeply immersive environments. Her current focus is on blending organic and digital worlds, inviting audiences into speculative landscapes that challenge and expand conventional perceptions of space.

Swaroop Elamon, a Toronto-based filmmaker, began his creative journey in 2010, specializing in visual storytelling that delves into the complexities of the human condition. Over the years, he has directed 16 short films, 2 music videos, and 2 documentaries, while contributing to numerous digital content projects. His work has been recognized at various film festivals like the Reelworld Film Festival and International Film Festival of South Asia for its thought-provoking narratives and unique style. His recent web series, Ekam, is available to stream and highlights his talent for combining engaging dramatic storytelling with a strong, immersive cinematic approach.

A graduate in political science from the University of Delhi, Swaroop honed his craft with a postgraduate diploma in film direction from LV Prasad Film Academy in Chennai. His filmography spans multiple genres, characterized by a distinctive blend of dark humor and visual introspection, showcasing his dedication to exploring the absurdities of life through a creative lens.

Khang-Ninh (Ninh) Đặng

Khang-“Ninh” Đặng (Đặng Khang Ninh) is a queer Saigonese in progress. Their poetry and music have been scattered worldwide – recognized by diaCRITICS, Vănguard, Seems, and other creative hubs. They were a “Best of the Net” nominee in 2024 and a writer-in-residence from Collections of Transience’s 2023-2024 Artist Residency Program. They casually jump across waters – between Sài Gòn, Vancouver, Sacramento, and elsewhere. Their cocoons are Instagram (@dkn_irl) and Facebook (Ninh Khang Đặng).


Benjamin Lappalainen

Benjamin Lappalainen

Benjamin Lappalainen (he/him) is a Toronto-based emerging multidisciplinary artist and creative technologist, producing audio-reactive visuals for performances and perceptive interactive installations. Technology is a core component of his practice, with much of his artistic process centered around architecting and programming generative and perceptive systems to create and interpret visuals and sound. His work has been showcased at group and solo exhibitions as well as live performances at InterAccess Gallery, Northern Contemporary Gallery, Long Winter Music & Arts Festival, and on the p5.js website throughout 2023 and 2024. The current focus of his artistic research is on the sustainable usage and repurposing of new and old technologies to enable novel modes of interaction between artwork and viewer, and artwork and environment.

Elle Morris is neuroqueer, disabled artist and researcher based out of Toronto, ON. ​​Their recent work explores emotion, embodiment, and technology through interactive, installation-based art. Elle recently completed the Luminous Bodies residency at Gibraltar Point (2024) and is a current artist in residence at InterAccess. Previously, they completed a residency at Casa Centre for the Arts (2021). Their work has exhibited at Casa (2020) and at Gibraltar Point Centre for the Arts (2024).
